Dear Friends of AIME,

 

Growing up in South Louisiana, where the beauty of nature played a significant role in shaping my life. Memories of my great-grandmother and grandfather tending to their garden still bring me a warm smile. The simple pleasure of picking tomatoes or turnip greens and transforming them into delicious meals is something I will always cherish. Another bright memory is my mother, who would often take my sisters and me to the breathtaking gulf coast beaches and serene lakes, allowing us to unwind and appreciate the beauty of nature. During those carefree summers, my sisters and I would also indulge in picking blackberries as snacks during our playtime.

 

I share these cherished memories because they played a significant role in shaping who I am today. Unfortunately, our planet is now facing a red alert as climate change drastically alters how we experience the outdoors. Breathing fresh air, connecting with the earth's water and plants, and savoring fresh vegetables from the ground are luxuries we once took for granted. As the co-CEO of aimementoring.com and the founder of zerogap.co, I am fortunate to work with incredible women who share a passion for embracing life to the fullest. This includes spending time in nature and savoring the flavors of delicious fruits and vegetables grown in our backyards while creating delightful snacks to share with the younger generation.

 

I had the privilege of experiencing inter-generational magic during my upbringing, and it is my hope that my nieces, nephews, and your young ones can also partake in such experiences learning to come into harmony with our planet through imagination classrooms and centering our board rooms with respect for the planet. 

 

With that in mind, I invite you to join me for a unique dinner party experience. These projects nurture imagination in classrooms and raise awareness about the importance of respecting our planet so that future generations can enjoy the wonders of beaches, lakes, and locally grown food.

 

When I speak with women about the work AIME is doing, it’s a collective resonance with the holistic approach to centering Indigenous wisdom to our education systems, natural ecosystems, and the ways in which we approach life and work. Women are at the forefront of thought leadership about a global approach to the challenges of our time. 

 

We see your leadership and passion, AIME founder Jack Manning Bancroft and myself have launched a 20-city international dinner party series and commissioned a coffee table book to feature each of the 20 women attending the 20 dinners in 20 weeks worldwide. In 2043, we’ll gather for a second time to celebrate the work that has been funded and write a 2nd edition of the Letters to Humanity book profiling the women once more. 

 

Our initial three dinner parties will be hosted in New York, Los Angeles, and Switzerland. Following these events, we kindly ask you, our dear friends, to recommend a woman who would be interested in co-hosting a dinner with me in a city of her choice around the globe. We would be thrilled to connect with her and explore the possibility of creating another magical dinner experience together.
